PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Customer correspondence is used to investigate and answer the specific request and to document the outcome.

We use Shopify to power our online store. Shopify processes commerce data needed to host the storefront, operate checkout, maintain orders, and provide related platform services. We also use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site. Analytics information is used to review traffic and store performance rather than to decide whether an individual customer may buy a product.
Access may also be provided to Shopify Payments, fraud-screening services, carriers, fulfillment services, customer-support tools, cloud or technical providers, accountants, legal advisers, and other processors whose work is necessary for a stated business purpose. Rights depend on residence and applicable law. Applicable United States federal and state privacy laws may provide a resident with rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, obtain a portable copy, restrict or object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where consent is the processing basis. PAYMENT DATA & SECURITY
Checkout is processed using Shopify Payments. Payment credentials are transmitted through encrypted connections to the payment provider; 117 OAK, LLC does not directly receive or store complete card numbers or security codes. The issuing bank and Shopify Payments handle authorization according to their own security and compliance controls.
We apply reasonable administrative and technical measures to the records under our control, restrict access according to work responsibilities, and review unusual order activity. No internet transmission or storage method can be promised as risk-free, so safeguards are reviewed as the store and its service providers change.
RETENTION, INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING & UPDATES
Records are kept only as reasonably needed for order administration, accounting, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, return handling, and enforcement of store terms. Shopify and other service providers may process data in countries outside the customer’s residence while applying the protections required by their agreements and applicable law.
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
